Happy Valentine's Day! Sharing LOVE!!

Hello loves! :)

Another Friday means another Best Feeling Ever Blog post, YAY! But of course, this isn't just any ordinary Friday, today is Valentine's Day!! Happy Valentine's Day everyone, I hope that you're all having a beautiful day full of lots of love and happiness surrounded by everyone and everything that makes your heart feel the most full!! :) <3

Valentine's Day is all about LOVE, of all kinds. If you have a special someone in your life that you're sharing this day with, I hope you're having a beautiful day together and sharing lots of love! But even if you are single, you can still make the very most of this day just the same! Because, as I said, love comes in all different varieties, and it is all around us. You are loved by so many people around you who care about you a great deal and want the ultimate happiness for you. Today is all about celebrating that!! Your friends, your family, and even those who you may have never met before but are inspired by you from afar are all sending you so much love today. I hope you feel it!!

Of course, however, I understand that this can be a hard day for you if you want to be in a relationship and are not currently in one. It can feel lonely at times and you may even feel a bit sad. Of course this is completely okay, let yourself feel these feelings and notice what is going on inside your heart. But don't worry, because there are lots of ways to still feel so much love and connection today! As for me, I'm not currently in a relationship right now, but I'm not letting that stop me from having an amazing day full of lots of love! So, how can we cultivate all of that love so we can feel it to its fullest in all its amazing glory?!

One of the best ways to get love in return is obviously to send it out to the world, and on Valentine's Day there are so many great ways to do this! For example, in the club that I run at my school, we have a yearly tradition of getting thousands of little Valentine's cards printed out every year and distributing them to AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE on campus! We deliver them to every dorm room and hand out as many as we can to everyone we see throughout the day. The cards are meant to remind recipients that no matter what, you are LOVED and CARED ABOUT on Valentine's Day and every day! I have been keeping up this tradition every year since my senior year of high school, and it always fills me with so much joy to see how happy it makes everyone who gets one.

I would say that this is a pretty grand gesture of love to the community that I am part of at my school, and if you feel inclined to do something similar, there are so many ways you can! It doesn't even have to be cards; you can try to get flowers, candy, and much more to hand out to as many people as possible! Want to do something like this but aren't in school? Don't worry, you can do this in your workplace, a club that you're part of, or really anywhere!

Don't want to do it within an organization, or aren't part of one? You can do it right in your community! Visit the shops and small businesses and leave little cards and notes for those who work there, or just try handing them out as you walk down the street if you want! You might very well make someone's entire day, and fill their heart with so much love and happiness. You could make ALL the difference!

Of course, make sure you do something extra special for your friends as well! Think about the people who mean the absolute most to you in your life, and give them something extra special that shows how well you truly know them and care about them. Remember, the greatest gifts are sometimes just spending a fun night together, going on a new adventure, or just giving each other a warm hug! Do whatever it is that reminds you why you love these people so much, and how you fill each other's hearts with so much happiness. :)

Alright, now I've saved the very best for last: Make sure you spend time with your FAMILY on Valentine's Day and every day!! The purest, greatest kind of love often starts right at home with the ones who have always been your biggest supporters. Make sure they know how much they are loved and appreciated and cared about! Take them out to dinner, make them a card, create a homemade present, just show them that they mean the world to you. Give all that love, and I'm sure you will find your heart fuller than ever!

By going that extra mile and doing your best to share as much love as possible with the world and with those around you, you will be able to keep your own heart more full than you can imagine! Not only are you sure to get lots of that love reciprocated, you will know deep down inside that YOU made a difference, quite possibly a HUGE one, to so many people and have helped them to be so happy. You just gotta get out there and do it! And, throughout all of it, always remember... LOVE YOURSELF!!

Celebrate yourself for the amazing and beautiful being of love that you are. If nothing else, take this night to do what YOU love the most and makes you the happiest! You deserve all of that love and happiness, and I know that no matter what, it will be yours in no time. And remember, I am ALWAYS sending you love, from my heart to yours, no matter who or where you are! Hope you feel it :) <3
