Centering Yourself, Accessing Peace :)

Heyy everyone!! Hope you're all doing amazing! I miss you all lots and I hope you and your families are all doing very well. For this week's topic, I would like to talk a little bit about centering ourselves and accessing peace inside of ourselves. This is a topic that I can talk forever about, so for this week I just thought that I would give some preliminary thoughts on the topic. These are still some extremely stressful times that we are living through, so clearly centering ourselves is something that is very important and can help us a lot in feeling healthy and whole in mind, body, and spirit. :) It can also go a long way towards helping us access a solid place of peace inside of ourselves, and help us feel that we are in control and that we are safe and calm. So, how can we access this within ourselves?


Something that I do that really helps me a lot in feeling more centered and calm is tuning into to what my body and mind need. I try to look inward and really listen to what my inner self is telling me. I ask, what do I need in this moment? What will help me to feel safe and in control and peaceful right now? What does my body need? What does my mind need? The first thing I do is make myself a priority, which is a super-important way of taking good care of yourself and definitely necessary, especially in moments of anxiety and doubt! Show yourself all the love that you have in your heart, and direct it back inwards. Put yourself front and center.


Once you are getting in touch with your inner sense of self and asking yourself what it is that you really want, do what you can to address those needs in that moment. If you need something to eat or drink, give that to yourself. If you need some time to yourself to rest and clear your mind, honor that and let yourself have that. If you need to talk about what it is that you are experiencing and reach out to someone for support, please be sure to reach out and get that for yourself!


By showing yourself this love and honoring what it is that you truly need, you will be able to not only find more peace and feel more healthy, you will also build a stronger sense of self and have an overall healthier and happier relationship with yourself. It may not always be easy, but I have found that it is always so worth it. Just like any relationship, your relationship with yourself needs to be one founded on love, trust, respect, compassion, and kindness. Once you can give that to yourself, I believe that you will find it even easier to send that out to others in the world as well!! :)


And as you practice this more and more, you will get even better at centering yourself and feeling a greater sense of love, kindness, and compassion for all that you are inside. You will feel calmer, more peaceful, more safe, and more whole. You will feel more ready to take on whatever this world has to throw at you. Just keep believing that you have it all inside of you, because you do, every second of every day. Just reach down deep inside, and you will be able to connect with all of that amazing potential. I know you can do this, I believe in you all the way!!!! :)
